Abstract

This study makes an effort to convey to institutions the value of training and development initiatives. In the current global economy, it is challenging for organisations to maintain their competitiveness. Employee development initiatives are becoming increasingly important in this era of intense competition and globalisation. This essay's goal is to give a theoretical analysis of employee training and development programmes and their advantages. By using the French scenario, this essay will examine the components and structure of an employee training and development programme. Once professional development programmes are developed and pursued to gain an advantage over competitors, favourable consequences for people and the organisation are ensured. The impact that development programmes have on both employees and organisations is a topic of intense debate among experts and scholars. The study that is being discussed here is a careful analysis of the literature on the fundamentals of employee development programmes and their advantages for both employers and employees.
