A REVIEW ON INDIAN ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

Neh Srivastava

Abstract

After the early 1970s, society has become more mindful of environmental challenges in various areas and at various spatial levels. The exponential population growth and new technologies have now brought about a significant effect on men's and women's atmosphere, and demand both on the climate and on services has intensified. Environmental concerns were highlighted at many international conferences and also debated at the intergovernmental level. Environmental issues had started in India in late 1970. Numerous constitutional amendments were introduced in the first place to protect the Environment. Green regulations, accompanied by conservation policies, were implemented from time to protect the Environment.

Keywords: Environment, legislation, and policy.
